The treatment
Boris, a police officer from the north of Israel, came to the clinic in Tbilisi in early 2026 for extractions and implants.
What went wrong
A few months after the treatment, Boris's body rejected one of the implants. This sometimes happens even when treatment is done properly: an implant that does not fuse with the bone is one of the known risks of implant surgery, and the medical team explains it before treatment.
How it was put right
We put Boris on a plane back to the clinic for a corrective treatment of a few days. All of it was covered by the clinic's warranty, at no cost to him.
Why we tell this story
Because the important question about treatment abroad is not only "what if it all goes well" but "what happens if it doesn't". For Boris, the answer was a flight, a few days at the clinic, and nothing to pay.
